Having run all around the country, trying to find a suitable retail unit for a Christmas Pop Up Shop, and to showcase our URBAN COUNTRY range, we found it right on our doorstep in the centre of Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. Letchworth is just off the A1 (J9), less than 30 miles north of the A1/M25 Junction. Founded by Ebeneezer Howard, it is the original Garden City, boasts the UK's first ever roundabout and is famous as the backdrop to Simon Pegg's film "World's End".
The shop we've found is charming, with a beautiful period frontage, and is the first shop I've been in which has a butler sink, gas lamps and an open fire! Having signed the documents last Friday, we've just had the news this morning that we can pick up the keys and so that's where I'm now headed to get everything ready.
This is a great opportunity for us to show off the URBAN COUNTRY range in all its glory and, in addition, we will be stocking the luggage, leather goods and other accessories which feature on our website. We hope to be up and running ASAP, so watch this space (and Facebook) for further details of our opening date!
